In early 2013, Lynch EMS entered into a pilot program with the Orange County Emergency Medical Services (OCEMS) to provide quality care and medical transport services to patients needing urgent care and transport to their hospital of choice. The pilot program concluded in September 2013 after Dr. Samuel Stratton, Medical Director at OCEMS, reviewed 215 calls for precision in dispatch and proper care and transport. Officially, in October 2013, Lynch EMS was the first company in Orange County to provide private Paramedic services.
Interfacility Paramedics (IFT-ALS) specialize in transporting patients requiring a higher level of care and monitoring from where they are to where they should go, as determined by their condition and care provider. IFT-ALS service transport is appropriate if directed/ordered by a Physician, the Attending Physician, or attending physician designated allied health professional. Lynch EMS Paramedics are state licensed, Orange County EMS Accredited with an expanded scope of practice, ACLS, and PALS or PEPP certified.
