Specialty Care and Critical Care Transport

Lynch EMS provides advanced ambulance transport for patients who require a higher level of care, monitoring, and clinical support during transport. Our specialty care and critical care transport capabilities support hospitals, care teams, patients, and families across Orange County and Southern California.

Our interfacility ALS paramedics are trained to manage high-acuity patients who may require cardiac monitoring, medication administration through IV pumps, CPAP, airway management, end-tidal CO2 monitoring, transcutaneous pacing, pain management, and ventilator-dependent transport.

Lynch EMS also has deep experience in pediatric and neonatal specialty transport through our long-standing partnership with Rady Children’s Health / CHOC Children’s. Since 2000, Lynch EMS has supported the CHOC Children’s Transport Team in providing critical pediatric and neonatal transport services throughout Southern California.

Specialty care or critical care transport may be appropriate for patients requiring:

  • Ventilator-dependent transport
  • Advanced cardiac monitoring
  • IV medication management
  • CPAP or advanced airway support
  • Pediatric or neonatal specialty transport
  • Interfacility transfer to a higher level of care
  • Continuous clinical monitoring during transport
  • ALS-level support beyond basic (BLS) ambulance transport
